APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FROM MERITORIOUS SPORTS PERSONS IN THE
FOLLOWING SPORTS DISCIPLINES FOR APPOINTMENT IN THE CADRE OF TAX ASSISTANT
( 06 POSTS) IN THE PAY SCALE OF RS.5200-20200 + GRADE PAY RS.2400 AS PER CCS
(REVISED PAY) RULES, 2008 IN THE CUSTOMS, CENTRAL EXCISE AND SERVICE TAX
DEPARTMENT, HYDERABAD AND VIZAG ZONES.
/NOTE:-

The department is desirous of building up and improving upon the existing teams. Hence
preference would be given to exceptionally meritorious Sportspersons available in team
disciplines.

The following categories of sportspersons will be considered as meritorious and will be
eligible for appointment subject to fulfillment of other conditions laid down below:
(I)
Sportspersons who have represented -
(i)
the country in an international competition
(ii)
a state in a national competition.
(iii)
their universities in the inter-university tournaments conducted by the inter-university
Sports Board.

Sportspersons, who claim to belong to any of the categories mentioned above, should
produce a certificate in the prescribed form No. 1 to 5 specified in Annexure A and duly signed
by the appropriate authorities as specified in Annexure-B. Departmental candidates should
route their applications through proper channel.

(i)  Qualifications:
Minimum educational qualification of Graduation in any discipline from any recognized
University.
(ii) Skill Test:

Data Entry Speed at 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depression per hour on Computer.


The Date Entry Speed Skill Test at 2000 (Two Thousand) key depressions for a duration
of 15 (fifteen) minutes will be of qualifying nature.
