Applications are invited for one temporary positions of Project Technician, to be employed in the IITM project in the Department of MECHANICAL ENGG.

Other things being equal, preference will be given to SC/ST candidates.
AGE LIMIT: The maximum age limit up to which the SC/ST candidate can work in the project is 30 years. The maximum age limit up to which other categories can work in project is 28 years.
The Co-ordinator has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the announcement.
Application on plain paper giving name, date of birth, age, address, full details of educational qualifications (stating the marks, rank, year of passing), community and experience etc., along with copies of certificates, should reach the following address on or before 27.09.2013. Candidates already working in any project at IIT, Madras should send their application through the Co-ordinator of the project.
