Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should be 40 years for men and 45 years for women for RA post, upper age limit should be 35 years for men and 40 years for women for SRF post. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates should possess M.Sc in Crop Physiology/ Botany/ Horticulture for SRF post, M.Sc in Biotech/ Agriculture/ Microbiology/ Agricultural Pathology/ Zoology for JRF post, Graduation in Horticulture/ Agriculture/ Botany for Technical Helper post, B.Sc (Agri)/ B.Sc (PCM/ CBZ) for Technical Person post, SSLC/ JOC for Skilled workers, Field Assistant and Lab Assistant post.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the performance in interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application/ bio data for each post separately so as to reach the office of Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (ICAR), Hessaraghatta Lake Post Bangalore – 560083 on or before 26-02-2013. Candidates may attend for walk in interview with the application form downloaded from the website and one set of Xerox copies of educational / professional qualifications along with originals and two passport size photographs at IIHR Campus on 7th & 08-03-2013 at 10:00 AM onwards.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess M.Sc.(Soil Science & Agri. Chemistry) for Sr. No. 1 posts, M.Sc. (Home Science)/M.Sc.(Food Science Technology)/ M.Sc. (Food & Nutrition) for Sr. No. 2 posts, Bachelor's degree in Library Science for Sr. No. 3 posts, B.Sc.in Agriculture/Horticulture for Sr. No. 4 posts, Matriculate with at least One year certificate in Agriculture/ Horticulture for Sr. No. 5, 6 posts (from a recognized University) and Matriculation pass along with LMV/ HMV Driving License to drive Tractor for Sr. no. 7 posts.
Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.300/- as application fee in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of "ICAR Unit – IIHR" payable at Bangalore. No fee for SC/ST candidates.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Selection/Written Test/ Interview/ Appointment.
