RECRUITMENT FOR PROJECT

Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following temporary position for the sponsored project undertaken in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering of this Institute. The positions are temporary initially for a period of  6 Months  and tenable only for the duration of the project. The requisite qualification & experience etc. are given below:

Project Code, Project Title & Funding Agency 13TCSIRC002 : "Performance Prediction of Multi-Tier Enterprise Applications" (Tata Consultancy Services -IITB research cell)   Position & Salary Research Assistant (1 Post ) Consolidated salary Rs.21000/- p.m. + HRA Qualification Bachelors in CS/IT or similar disciplines. Experience in testing and development of web-based multi-tier applications. Comfortable in Java programming and Linux environments. Familiarity with application performance preferred. Job Profile Software Development and Performance Testing - design and development of tools for performance testing and performance analysis. Performance testing of Web applications.   Position & Salary Technical Assistant (1 Post ) Consolidated salary Rs.14000/- p.m. + HRA Qualification Bachelors in CS/IT or similar disciplines. Experience in maintenance and administration of Linux machines. Experience in application development in Java will be a plus. Job Profile Installation and administration of Linux servers and desktops. Additional tasks may include Java application development and performance testing of Web applications.

The appointment is for time bound project and the candidate is required to work mainly for the successful completion of the project. The selection committee may offer lower or higher designation and lower or higher salary depending upon the experience and performance of the candidate in the interview.
