Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 30 years for Sr.No:1,3,4,6,7 Posts, 28 years for Sr.No:2 Post, 25 years for Sr.No:5 Post, 35 years for Sr.No:8,9 Posts as on last date for receipt of applications. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess First or Second Class Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering for Sr.No:1 Post, First or Second Class Graduation for Sr.No:2 Post, SSLC or equivalent with 100 wpm in Shorthand and 40 wpm for Sr.No:3 Post, Degree from a recognized University for Sr.No:4 Post, SSLC or equivalent 30 wpm in typewriting for Sr.No:5,6,7 Post, ITI certificate for Sr.No:8 Post, A pass in the Training Course of not less than six months duration conducted by the National Coir Training and Design Centre, with three years experience in dyeing for Sr.No:9 Post.
Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Examination and Interview.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.100/- for Sr.No:1,2 Post, Rs.50/- for Sr.No:3 to 9 Posts through the Demand draft drawn drawn on any Bank, payable at Ernakulam in favour of Secretary, Coir Board, Kochi. SC, ST, PWD, Ex-servicemen and female candidates are exempted from fee.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format along with attested copies of age, qualifications, experience certificates, Demand draft etc the Secretary, Coir Board, Coir House, PB.No.1752, M.G.Road, Kochi-16 on or before 07-08-2014 & for candidates living in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur etc on or before 14-08-2014.
