VSSC Recruitment 2014 – Apply Online for 36 Technical Asst, Primary Teacher & Other Posts: Department of Space, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Thiruvananthapuram has released notification for the recruitment of 36 Technical Asst, Scientific Assistant, Library Assistant, Trained Graduate Teacher and other vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply online from 11-08-2014 to 03-09-2014 and candidates may send their printout copies of applications on or before 10-09-2014.

5. Primary Teacher: 05 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates maximum age limit should be 35 years for UR category, 38 years for OBC category and 40 years for SC category as on 03-09-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess first class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering./ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Civil Engineering/ Chemical Engineering for Post No.1, B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry for Post No.2, Graduation, Master's degree in Library Science/ Library & Information Science or equivalent for Post No.3, Four years' Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education on NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate for Post No.4 and Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for Post No.5.
Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written test/ interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through website http://www.vssc.gov.in/ from 11-08-2014 from 10:00 Hrs to 03-09-2014 by 17:00 Hrs. After applying online, take print out of submitted application form and send it with affixed latest photograph together with attested copy of SC/ST/OBC certificates (if applicable), No Objection Certificate, etc, enclosed in an envelope super scribed with "Registration no, Advertisement No. VSSC-284, Dated 11.08.2014″, by Speed post to the to Senior Administrative Officer, Recruitment & Review Section, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Thiruvananthapuram-695022 on or before 10-09-2014 at 17:00 hours.
Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Log on to the website http://www.vssc.gov.in/.
2. Click on the Recruitment —> Select the appropriate position.
3. Click on the "Apply" Link.
4. Candidates should register yourself by providing email ID.
5. Click on the "Apply Now" Link.
6. Fill all the details & submit the application.
7. On successful registration, you will receive an email (email is sent in Bulk/ Spam Folder)
8. Click on the link given in the email to open the online application form.
9. Fill in all the information correctly and submit the application form.
10. On Submission of application the page will be previewed and you can confirm if the information is correct.
11. Submit the application form, a registration number will be displayed on the screen and a email will be sent to the candidate.
12. Download the application form & take the 2 printout copy of applications, keep the one for future use.
13. Take the copy of application attach all the relevant documents & send it to the concerned address.
