Indian Air Force has issued notification for the recruitment of Airmen
vacancies against Sports quota in Indian Air Force in Group 'Y'
Trades. Eligible Unmarried outstanding Sportsmen (only male Indian
Citizens) may apply in prescribed application format with in 30 days
from the date of advt.

Age Limit: Candidates should born between 01-08-1994 to 30-06-1998
(both days inclusive). Age relaxations are applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Passed 10+2 or
equivalent examination in Stream/ Subjects approved by Central/ State
Boards of Education.

Sports Qualification: Candidates who have been represented the country
in Junior International meets in any of the above sports discipline,
attained the standard of fifth place in the Junior National
Championship or Inter University Championship.

Selection Process: Candidates are selected based on their performance
in physical fitness test & interview.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application in
prescribed format along with passport size colour photograph, attested
copies of matriculation certificate in support of date of birth,
attested copies of mark sheet, certificates of educational
qualification, sports achievements certificates, unstamped self
addressed 24 cm x 10 cm white envelop, in an envelop should be
superscribed as "Outstanding Sportsmen for Group 'Y' Trades Sports
Discipline Applied for ————–" to the Secretory, Air Force Sports
Control Board, C/O 412 Air Force Station, Race Cource, New
Delhi-110003 with in 30 days from the date of advt.

Important Dates:
Date of Advt: 17-01-2015 to 23-01-2015.
Last Date for Receipt of Application: With in 30 days from the date of advt.
