Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 25 years as on the last date of receipt of applications. Age relaxation will be 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ ST candidates, 10 years for PHC candidates and for others will be applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess 10th standard pass from a recognized Board/ Institution.
Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Physical Endurance Test, Written Exam, Verification of Original Documents & Medical test.
How to Apply:Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format along with attested copies of SSC/ 10th mark list towards proof of date of birth, Caste Certificate, Disability certificate, Discharge certificate in case of Ex-Serviceman, Call letter for PET and written exam as per the format placed at Annexure-II & III duly affixing self photograph attested by Gazetted Officer etc within 30 days from the date of advertisement & for candidates living in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram etc can apply within 37 days from the date of advertisement to The Admiral Superintendent (for CAO), Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam-530014, only by registered/speed post. The documents containing envelope should be superscribed as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF TRADESMAN (MATE)".
Important Dates:
Date of Advertisement: 21-06-2014 to 27-06-2014.
Last Date for Receipt of Applications: Within 30 days from the date of advertisement.
Last Date for Receipt of Applications for candidates living in Assam, Meghalaya etc: Within 37 days from the date of advertisement.
The tentative date of Physical Endurance Test and written examination will be in: August 2014.
