Ministry of Home Affairs, Directorate General Border Security Force (BSF) has posted employment notification for the recruitment of 45 Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (Assistant Sub Inspector) vacancies in BSF Air Wing for the year 2014-15. Eligible candidates may apply in prescribed format with in 30 days and 45 days for remote areas from the date of publication of advertisement.

Name of the Posts: Assistant Aircraft Mechanic
1. Mechanical Trade: 22 Posts
2. Avionics Trade: 23 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age should not exceed 28 years as on last date for receipt of applications. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Diploma in the relevant trade or Group 'X' Diploma issued by IAF and have relevant aviation experience.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Written Examination followed by Documentation, Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Interview & Medical Examination.
Examination Fee: Candidates need to Pay Rs 50/- for General/ OBC candidates in the form of Demand Draft/ Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Commandant 25 BN BSF, payable at SBI – ADB Najafgarh, Code No 001419. No Fee for Female, SC, ST & Ex-Servicemen candidates.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in prescribed format along with photographs affixed on application form, admit card, self attested copies of relevant certificates, two self addressed envelopes of size 25 x 12 cms with postal stamp of Rs 39/-, in an envelope superscribed with "Application for direct recruitment of Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (ASI) in BSF Air Wing 2014-15″ to BSF with in 30 days and 45 days for remote areas from the date of publication of advertisement.
